:: Hall of Fame NFL Game - 2006

Press Release

The National Football League has commissioned Big Fogg™ Misting Systems of Temecula, CA to provide its misting fan systems at the Hall of Fame game in Canton, Ohio on Sunday, August 6th. Big Fogg is excited to provide its equipment for the opening exhibition game between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Oakland Raiders. Misting fans will be provided for both teams.

During the past year, Big Fogg supplied its misting fans and heating benches for sideline cooling and heating at over 200 NFL and top NCCA football games. Big Fogg Misting Fans were also on the sidelines for the 40th Super Bowl, between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Seattle Seahawks, and for the Pro Bowl in Hawaii.

This year’s Hall of Fame is noteworthy for two reasons:

1) NBC will be broadcasting an NFL game for the first game since 1998.
2) John Madden, who will be in the broadcast booth this season for NBC’s “Sunday Night Football”, will be inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame the day before the game.

In addition to the Hall of Fame game, Big Fogg will provide its equipment for the first regular season game of the season on September 10th between the Indianapolis Colts and the New York Giants. The NFL regular season debut will feature the first professional match-up between Colt’s quarterback Peyton Manning and his younger brother, Giant’s quarterback Eli Manning. Big Fogg’s fans will be on the Colts’ sideline.

For years, the NFL and top college teams have relied on Big Fogg Misting Fans to provide optimum sideline cooling protection for its players to help protect them from heat exhaustion. Big Fogg’s presence is felt on a wide range of football and non-football related activities. Big Fogg is also active in many charitable events. In 2006, Big Fogg provided it Misting Fans, at no cost, for the kickoff of the Pop Warner punt, pass and kick contest, for the annual high school all-star game for Shiners hospital in Los Angeles, and for H.E.R.O for a Day in Atlanta. “Our major goal is to help provide relief from the heat at every sporting and special event, no matter what the size, across the continent” states Christopher Miehl, President and CEO of Big Fogg.

Over the past six months, Big Fogg has sold its equipment to the Cincinnati Reds, Boston Red Sox and this year’s “hot” team – the surging Detroit Tigers. Big Fogg also made special arrangements to send its equipment to the Special Olympics, Habitat for Humanity, and the UCLA Jazz Festival.

Big Fogg Misting Systems has been active overseas, selling 20 of its high-pressure premium misting fans to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba and large quantities of high-pressure misting fans for our troops in Iraq. However, a recent shipment of our misting fans to the US Embassy in Cyprus has been delayed in transit due to the war in the Middle East.

So far in 2006, Big Fogg was there for the Super Bowl, the MLB All-Star Game, the Daytona 500, the Pepsi 400, the X-Games, the Rose Bowl, the Orange Bowl, the Peach Bowl, the Cotton Bowl to the set of Pirates of the Caribbean III and will be there for the upcoming 2006 Hall of Fame Game in Canton.
